About Us

Our Passion

Seeing things from a different perspective can entirely change how we view a situation. We believe aerial photography and videography has the same effect on the world around us.  Composition, color correction and grading can transform ordinary into extraordinary.

Our Home

Sparrow Aerial Media is based out of Richmond Kentucky and services all of Madison county and the surrounding areas of Central Kentucky.  Using cutting edge drone technology, we put care and passion into every shot and strive to capture media that is inspiring and impactful for our clients.

Our Certification

We are in full compliance with the established FAA guidelines for commercial drone flight. The FAA requires a Part 107 Remote Pilot's Certificate to legally fly a small UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) for commercial purposes.  As the FAA continues to develop regulations for unmanned aircraft, it is growing more and more important to stay up to date and in compliance with these regulations as they are published.

It is our pledge and commitment to our customers to stay current and obey the governing FAA guidelines for the safety and well being of those around us.

Sample of the regulations:

  • Maintain constant line of site with the drone

  • Flight below 400 AGL in uncontrolled airspace

  • Properly request authorization for flight in controlled airspace

  • All drones weighing more than 0.55 pounds must be registered with the FAA

  • Small unmanned aircraft may not operate over any persons not directly participating in the operation, not under a covered structure, and not inside a covered stationary vehicle.
